Join us for a study day exploring the interconnected academic, museological, cultural and commercial components of Asian Art ecosystem. A series of panels will explore a range of topics, from conservation, curation and collection in museums, to institutional leadership in the arts, from the challenges of a changing educational landscape to the evolving Asian art market in a digital age.

 

Featuring panelists from the SOAS Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art’s global alumni community, coming together to discuss their past, current, and future projects, and to offer insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector today. Join us to be a part of a series of dynamic and interactive discussions, and to celebrate the legacy of our course’s founder and director emerita Dr Heather Elgood MBE, on the day of her retirement.
